From here, you have a view across the vine-covered hill of Tramin, up to the craggy walls of the Mendelkamm, across the lovely Etsch Valley, towards the Dolomites, the "most beautiful mountains in the world", which have been a UNESCO world heritage site since 2009.

Directly at the hotel, you can join the hiking paths of Tramin, in particular the panoramic route which takes you across gentle terrain to the neighbouring village of Kurtatsch. You can also hike directly from the "Ansitz Romani" up to the Mendelkamm.

From the "Ansitz Romani" it is a comfortable 5-minute walk through romantic narrow village streets to the village centre of Tramin.
